Blue Ridge Education - A Unique Learning Experience

Unique Location—that’s what best describes Blue Ridge. This city can be situated in between the Appalachian Mountains and Piedmont, a transitional zone in Georgia. You can found a diversity of flora and fauna in its 480 acres of shaded coves and forested ridges. What’s more, Blue Ridge is home to more than 30 species of herbaceous species, trees, and abundant wildflowers that provides a natural habitat for reptiles, mammals, and amphibians.
Because of the ecosystem and inviting landscape of Blue Ridge, this place is a haven for a rich learning environment. Blue Ridge Education is also unique—because they offer student of all ages an environmental education. Every student is given the chance to gain knowledge of the world and have an opening awareness of the need to be conscious in being a good steward of the environment.
The class is divided into 3 sections: the day class, evening class, and eco-adventure. The day class involves interactive learning which allows every student to learn about the Appalachian geography, forest ecology, aquatic ecology and so much more. Evening programs consist of campfire activities where students learn about the culture of the Cherokee and the Appalachians. And lastly, the eco-adventure offers each student to exert physical effort in the climbing tower, ropes course, and white water rafting. Whatever the activities, you can be sure that you will enjoy every learning experience in Blue Ridge.
