Trying to look at the Blue Ridge from a bird's eye view, it will take you into a ride that is a lollipop or "d" shaped route, combining moderate climbs and descents on fireroads, and a great descent on the Blue Ridge Trail singletrack until the end of the ride. You will also find some tight switchbacks and somewhat technical sections on the Blue Ridge singletrack.

Such amazing trails would be great to travel on but not everyone is capable of traversing the challenging paths. The ride should appeal to bikers of all skill levels but it would be best to be a good rider to make sure that you are ready for the intense road bumps and potholes. Aside from the great experience from the exigent trails to follow, mountain biking in Blue Ridge is spectacularly scenic while wildlife abounds in the forest especially on summer months.

Mountain biking areas in Blue Ridge are somewhat difficult to reach, which may account for the pristine quality of the trails. Though this ride is hard, it is truly worth the effort for bikers who really appreciate great high altitude mountain vistas. If you are off for a great experience as a biker, then you must prepare. Make sure that you are fully equipped with safety gadgets and compass.
