Getting Out of the Classrooms

Blue Ridge, as a physiographic province, is consisted of high mountains and other land forms. This makes each state, bounded across it, to be some of the best places for outdoor education.

Blue Ridge education is made more enriched with knowledge. This is offered for all ages so that everybody may get the chance to see and touch the processes at work in the world and to get a sense of special place in that system through effective and hands-on education.

Environmental education is favorable for opening awareness for being responsible citizens and conscious stewards of an environmentally-rich state. Indeed, this will not be just great for good sense of stewardship but also for having a more enjoyable schooling. Some students really don't want to get flared up with the boring indoor education.

The Blue Ridge outdoor education center, for instance, is among the effective centers for adventurous students. They provide day and night classes, which include hiking, environmental debate, night walk, skit night, team building activities, and the "trek", which refers to the exciting problem-solving adventure that combines a scavenger hunt with team building elements.

While the risks taken may be mental, social, emotional, physical, or even spiritual, the outcomes to each student comes to a new level of awareness, self-confidence, and understanding. Ultimately, the rewards of well-planned programs can last a lifetime. So why shouldn't you get out of your classroom?
