Because of its pure mineral waters, the town of Blue Ridge was once considered as an elite health resort. Tourists would flock in this town to experience the healing waters and enjoy the serene surroundings of Blue Ridge.
Not only the healing waters, but tourists also enjoy riding the railroad train that was founded in 1886. Meeting the train is one of the favorite activities on this place. Blue Ridge is a result of the arrival of the Marietta and North Georgia Railroad. Since the creation of these railroads, Blue Ridge became the center of business. The county seat was then transferred from Morganton to Blue Ridge.
In addition to the above-mentioned qualities, visitors also have the chance to eat local foods at Blue Ridge’s restaurants that cater local delicacies. Then maybe after that, you and your friends can take a walk to the mineral water. If you enjoy strolling around, you can walk around and visit the local antique and specialty shops, galleries, museums, parks and just enjoy the small town’s tranquil atmosphere.
Tourists also loved Blue Ridge because of its five-star hotels that accommodate them all. The place is already relaxing, what if your hotel also give you a healthy spa, body massage and wonderful dining? What more could you ask for- a perfect getaway idea isn’t it?
